Hydropunk

Hydropunk is an outdoor show performed across the UK in the summer months. It’s a collaboration between established street theatre company Artizani and Tenderfoot Theatre, a graduate company from Edge Hill University in the north of England. Tenderfoot describe themselves as an environmental theatre company who make work at the intersection of sustainability and creativity.

Hydropunk involves a range of playful installations that rely on water fed by a central reservoir. Audience members/participants are challenged to keep the games going by conserving the water because there is only 1000 litres of water to work with and once it’s gone the event comes to an end.

The show proved very popular in the summer of 2025 and is already booking up for 2026.  – A. Jeffers
