After completing a PhD in agricultural economics, Fabienne worked for over ten years at Ifremer and the Université de Bretagne Occidentale, where she contributed to developing and implementing participatory analyses of maritime and coastal policies. In 2008, she joined ACTeon-environment consulting company as a research director, then head of the “Governance, sociology, institutions” division.
As an independent consultant since 2019, Fabienne provides social science support to public stakeholders working in the field of ecological transition, and more specifically in water management: sociological analysis, territorial and stakeholder diagnosis, design and facilitation of participatory approaches, conducting surveys and interviews, policy evaluation. At the same time, she pursues research activities: in particular, with Anna Street, she co-directed the AquaArts project (Quel rôle de la culture et des arts dans l’évolution des espaces urbains à proximité de l’eau ?), supported by MSH Paris Nord and Plaine Commune as part of the “Fabriquer la ville avec l’art et la culture” call for projects.
